Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 27, 2026. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including how our phone and text message communications work.
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy describes how Spooner Creative, LLC, doing business as Joshua Spooner Photography (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit joshuaspooner.com and our related pages, contact us, or use our real estate media services. We are based in Burbank, California.
Questions about this policy can be sent to info@joshuaspooner.com or (424) 353-5035.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly: when you submit a contact, quote, newsletter, or download form, book a shoot through our booking portal, call or text our business lines, or email us, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, property address, and the content of your message.
Communications data: when you call our business lines we receive your phone number and call details; voicemails you leave are recorded and may be automatically transcribed. When you text us, we receive your number and message content. We do not record live phone conversations.
Information collected automatically: like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies (including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and hosting analytics) to understand how visitors use our site, and advertising measurement tags on pages reached from our ads.
3. How We Use Your Information
To respond to your inquiries, prepare quotes, schedule and deliver photography services, and manage our client relationships.
To send service communications about your bookings and deliveries by email, phone, or text message.
To send occasional marketing emails (such as our newsletter) that you can opt out of at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
To measure and improve our website and advertising performance.
4. Text Messaging (SMS)
By providing your phone number through our website forms, booking portal, or by contacting us, you consent to receive text messages from Spooner Creative, LLC related to your inquiries and bookings, such as appointment confirmations, delivery notifications, and replies to your questions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@joshuaspooner.com or (424) 353-5035.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the service providers necessary to deliver messages to you.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business — such as our CRM (HubSpot), communications provider (Twilio), booking and project management platform, website hosting (Vercel), and analytics and advertising services (Google) — and only as needed to provide our services.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand site usage, and advertising tags to measure the performance of our ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on available from Google.
7. Data Retention and Security
We retain client and inquiry records for as long as needed to provide our services, meet legal obligations, and maintain business records. We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time (link in every email), opt out of texts by replying STOP, and request that we access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@joshuaspooner.com. California residents may exercise applicable rights under California law through the same contact.
9. Children
Our services and website are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date below reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be posted on this page.
